Glenn P Murray is a skilled executive with experience and backed by education. EOS minded with a Gen X / Millennial hybrid style to bring together cross-functional teams inspiring and challenging others to raise standards, achieve their best performance and driving results.

GP was born in New York and resided there until age 25. During that time he received a BS degree (Management & Finance) from Adelphi University and worked in operations for a $500MM retailer, and then in a similar capacity for the Long Island Railroad. He observed and absorbed many of his interpersonal skills in these early days of employment as each of these companies had thousands of employees.

After a brief stay in Virginia GP moved to San Diego at the age of 27. For the first several years in California GP worked in a leadership position for a mid-sized sportswear manufacturer-wholesaler.

Thereafter, GP began to work for an industrial supplies distributor in Finance and Technology where he masterminded a complete overhaul of the entire technology network, erp, website and related marketing media. This effort allowed this "legacy" industrial tool and supply company to grow sales from $8MM to $40MM in six years and secure a large and permanent market presence. Beaming from that success GP transitioned to independent Consulting in Finance & Technology for a couple years and also completed an MBA at University of San Diego.

GP then served 11 years as CFO for Island Pacific Systems Inc, a global software company where he would lead Finance, Networking and collaborate with the CEO & COO to manage operations in their absence when on road trips. GP managed staff in North America, Canada, China, India, UK, Ireland, South Africa reporting to the Global parent in Australia. The company was public on the ASX for period of time then reversed to operate as a private company.

Following the period of Worldwide technology experience, GP joined Entry Ventures, Inc a start-up VC as COO/CFO to head-up planning and operations for this $300MM fund. For 2-3 years GP met with entrepreneurs, created valuation models, researched industries and executed on strategic objectives. In late-2020 the fund activities were placed on hold (Covid-19) and remains dormant at this time. In 2021 GP and Entry Ventures, Inc parted with a handshake and a smile.

In early 2021 GP was asked to lead a regional yacht charter and services company. Using expanded and improved marketing and channel relationships and creating efficiencies in communication GP was able to grow this business from a small operation to a top tier performer in the competitive region of Southern California.

From 2022-2024, GP worked as CFO for i2Vision, Inc, which was an international Advertising firm startup in the Biotech / Pharmaceutical industry helping new and existing companies with branding, promotion and events.

While GP has sat on the BoD for several companies he values time when available working with local non-profit organizations in San Diego and even created his own non-profit to serve school teachers and students where budget constraints have forced classrooms to "do without" or required teachers to contribute school supplies from their personal salaries.
Said by GP, "I don't need to be Warren Buffett to help a group of teachers and students a bit, it's the right thing to do." [GPM]
